Do you think Disney ever regrets not having full ownership of Tokyo Disney?

This is a topic that has always been intriguing to me. It is like a double edge sword for them. On one hand, they don't have to worry about funding as much but in the case of Splash Mountain, it will be extremely difficult to likely get an agreement. Or the fact OLC just does "Disney" better than Disney. I always have wondered if Disney has ever regret the decision to create a park in Tokyo and not have proper control over the majority of it.

The other international parks didn’t do well under Disney. It was smart OLC to come after Disney making a proposal to develop and operate a resort. Disney would perhaps make a lot of mistakes to make Tokyo Disneyland a financial mistake.
I think Disney is much happier to receive royalties out of OLC instead.

Yes. Yes they do. So much so, that they've tried to buy it out a few times, but the numbers have not been what they're looking for.
