Do you think all deluxe hotels should have cabanas?

Should all deluxe resorts have pool side cabanas?

One of the things that we really enjoy doing is renting a cabana when we stay at the Poly, and also the Disneyland Hotel out in Anaheim. I think the Yacht and Beach Club would be another great hotel to have pool side cabanas by. Anyone else think that all of the deluxe hotels should have them and not just the ones on the monorail loop (especially with with upcoming construction at the Poly?

Waterparks, I get. Why would I pay for a cabana when my room is just steps away?

Especially at the Disneyland Resort...it takes 5 minutes to get back to your room...tops!

Because laying by the pool in the warm summer air and enjoying drinks from Trader Sam's while your kids are swimming a short ways away is not something you can do from your room.

i suppose its a nice idea in theory but I don't see the need for it at the hotels or at the water parks. I think Disney saw the cruise lines make a lot of $$$ with these at the private islands and figured they'd try to institute it at the resorts/water parks. Ruins the scenery, creates a 'class' structure and generally just makes it look crowded and cluttered.

I like the idea of cabanas, especially if you plan to spend the day at the pool. They are off to the side and not in anyone's way so I see no issue with them.
