Do you need to have your MagicBands in order to make your Fastpasses?

I just ordered my MagicBands for my December 17-26 trip the other day. In a couple of weeks, we can start booking our Fastpasses. Do we need to have the MagicBands in our hands to make the fastpasses or can they be linked later on?

No, the bands will come later. You can get online and book your FP+ choices once your time comes.

No your bands will not even ship until about 21-30 days ahead of your dates. Non resort guests can book FP's at 30 days and any resort guest w/ some type of park tickets regardless if having your magic bands or not can book at 60 days out. All you need is tickets and a room linked to your account to book at 60 days out.
