Do you have to have a ticket to get in at the Boardwalk area?

I went back in 2007 but couldn't remember. We are gonna be in the world a day early so was thinking between here and Downtown that we could make a full day. Trying new foods and just exploring and shopping.

Like coach said, some fun street performers in the evenings. Kids, and big kids like us, seem to really like the magician, and he gets them involved in the act. Beautiful area to explore and if you really like ice cream, Beaches and Cream is at Beach Club. A nice and not too long stroll from BW.

The last thing I got from the bakery was a turkey sandwich and grapes. The sandwich wasn't very good (it was processed stuff) and the grapes were the same grapes you buy all over WDW. Grapes are grapes. It was like nine dollars, though. I just kept thinking about the piles of turkey I could get from the butcher for nine dollars.

If you're ere and you're hungry, think about walking over to the Dolphin and going to the Fountain. They have better food.

Stuff to do. Hmmm. You could rent one of those wheelie bikes and ride around. There are some street performers at night that your daughter might enjoy!

Unfortunately we've found that there isnt as much going on earlier in the day, seems to come more alive towards evening. But even then I'm surprised that there isn't more going on ( boardwalk kiosks, games etc. )to really give it that true Boardwalk feeling. MY DS always has a request...We must go to the ESPN club for a meal and look at the sports displays and merchandise. The art store is great to walk through but boy the prices are way out of our league. You can also take a pleasant walk a short distance over to the Miniature golf course by the Swan & Dolphin resorts and play a few rounds.

Seashore Sweets- plain ol' sugar cookie- I don't know, there's just something about it- maybe it's all that pixie dust! I love looking in the Wyland gallery. And I always make DH rent a surrey bike- it makes me laugh how he cusses pedaling uphill :D

Join me, together we can rule the galaxy.
As others have stated the Boardwalk is free.

I highly recommend visiting DTD first and saving BW/BC/YC for later in the day (after 6:00) is best. The street performers, arcade games, etc. all start later in the day and the boardwalk really comes alive around 7:00 to 8:00.

Don't miss Seashore Sweets, the Boardwalk Bakery, and Beaches and Cream for Disney extras and the Wyland Gallery is fantastic
