The banner ads kept showing them to me and I wanted one anyway, so I gave in, clicked through and bought one. I don't think it will work, but am curious.

It will be a cute cup, anyway.

Tervis Tumblers are outstanding. Most of the cups at my house for everyday drinking is done from Tervis now. The fact that they do not leave a ring on a wooden surface is a massive plus.

That's what I love about them- they don't sweat! I drink ice water exclusively and in any other glass or cup the condensation is terrible. I'm also a bit weird in that I prefer to drink from a straw. So the staws and lids for the tervis are great for me. The capacity is fantastic too! I have two that I rotate between and they are all I use.

We are in the process of replacing all our cups in our house with them. We have 6 right now and get a few more every year. They have everything on them from Mickey Mouse too a couple of deers.

The sweating. They say they don't sweat. That would be fantastic, if true! My house is kept at 78-82 most of the year and I drink a lot of ice water, so I'm always putting paper towels on top of coasters, etc.

I can guarantee to you that they do not sweat because they have two layers -- it is physically impossible for the interior layer to "sweat" into the exterior layer -- its physics.
