Do Universal Tickets Expire??

I will be going to Universal Orlando early next year & interested in getting my tickets now so I have them when I go.My question is do the Universal Studios park tickets have an experation date or they are like Disney passes which have no experation.Have not been to Universal in a few years.Any help would be appreciated.

Please tell me this is a new policy, I had Tickets at the end of last year that did expire 12/02. I had to sell my extra ticket because of this. I hope they have changed though.
