Do they know who created fake tickets opening day?

My assumption is that the 'fake ticket' angle has been vastly overplayed by Disney because it's a wonderful story. I'm sure it happened- but I doubt it was to the extent Disney marketing says.

The far bigger issue was that for some tickets, people could write in the size of their group.

Tony talks about it in this video-

Maleficent and Pete; it was one of their lamer schemes in the Kingdom Heart saga. (“Sorry, Queen of Evilnessness.” “Youuuuuu Bummmpkin!!!”)

I am just curious. Has it ever been revealed who was the person behind creating fake Disneyland opening day tickets?

It was my Uncle Lars.

He was always a card, always out to make a fast buck. He figured Disneyland wouldn't last past Labor Day.

A decade later he was selling Beatle wigs at swap meets. Then during the energy crisis in '73 he was selling fake license plates that had either an odd number or an even number, whichever you needed.

Uncle Lars was crazy, but he had a good heart.
