Do they apply discounts after you've already booked?

I know this has been asked before, so I apologize for starting a new thread, but if I book a trip for early Summer, and Disney decides to offer percentages off of rooms, do they retroactively apply it to your invoice?

You have to go in and apply it to your reservation yourself either online or by calling them and telling them.

Keep in mind they only have a limited number of rooms for each promotion so call as soon as it comes out.

They will be able to apply the discount only if the same booking is eligible and available when you call. It works more like a full rebooking instead of simply applying the discount. So you may need to decide what is more important to you, the date of your trip, the hotel/room type you booked, or the discount and choose/adjust accordingly.

^^This. As long as your room type and dates are available still, they can do it. For example, I have an AoA Little Mermaid room scheduled for March. This room typically doesn't have any discounts, so if any discounts were to come out for the time frame that my vacation is scheduled for, and the Little Mermaid room is not part of the discount, I would not be eligible for it.

Last year when I called my room wasn't available for the discount, but the date was good for awhile so they told me to keep checking. It took about 3 weeks and it finally came available. So check about once a week to see if your type of room opens.
