I'm asking because the week I had planned to visit the resort (March 30- April 6) shows up on the Japanese Disney website as a Top Week for hotel rates...meaning highest rates possible. Anyone know? :cat:

Years ago I use to have issues with Japanese Tour Groups, but in the fall, their real tour time. Have not seen them in mass form since the parks opened in Tokyo, they have been replaced by the Brazilians.

Well I know that's not Golden Week (a week of several Japanese holidays), which is at the end of April/beginning of May and I know the Tokyo parks are PACKED that week and to avoid at all costs.

But is is the typical "spring break" week for Japanese schools, which is from March 22 to April 7 in 2014. SO you can count on the parks being VERY busy. Plan on getting to the gates at least an hour before park opening, bring your patience and play the Fastpass game to your best advantage.

That week will be quite packed. Try basically any other time in April if you want to avoid crowds. If you can't, don't sweat it, but be prepared. You're going to be there for a while so that's a plus.

I used this site when planning my trip last June and it was very accurate; I recommend.

It translates into English clearly on my browser (Chrome). And yes, some of the translations are a riot.
