hey everyone!

i got tickets to the water parks and was wondering if I needed to know how to swim to enjoy it? I went to a local water park many years back and the deepest the water was was 3-4 feet. are the disney parks similar?

thanks again!

Unless you venture far into the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon you don't need to know how to swim.

Yes. Unless you swim deep into the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon you don't need to know how to swim.

That's a confusing answer.... "Yes. No."

The answer is no. You don't need to know how to swim, just how to stand in water.

Honestly long as you remember to stand up and never panic then you do not need to know how to swim to enjoy the water parks. Just use your better judgment and common sense and you will be just fine. I say go and have a ball.

Depends on the water attraction. For most, I would say no, but check the depth at the bottom just to be sure.

Some of the depths are over my head, but I'm short, so...:joyfull:

I don't remember anything deep at blizzard beach.

Typhoon Lagoon. There is one body slide that you have to pretty much swim (where I almost lost 2 waterproof cameras and lifeguards yelled as I went under trying to find them as soon as I hit the water lol) there is also the big fish tank you can snorkel across.

Other than the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon, nothing is that deep. My favorite part of either water park in the "lazy river." I like to float around and say "Look at all the lazy people."
