Do ADR for dining packages really release 60 days out?

I've been checking availability for Fantasmic Dining Packages as my 60 day window for making reservations is just around the corner. However, it looks likes the calendar highlights 60 days out but has not released actual reservations beyond about 3.5 weeks in the future. Can anyone confirm this, and is this typical for Fantasmic Dining Package releases? Will I need to wait until about 3.5 weeks before my trip to make the reservation?

Im not familiar with Fantasmic, but many reservations for dining are made 60 days out. It used to be at 5 am. Not sure if it still is. My wife has me do all of that. I'm such a wonderful husband Sometimes... You may have to have someone else to confirm this. Have a wonderful trip!

Yes, the dining packages are often loaded a bit later than 60 days. I’d check every few days though, not leave it until 30 days.

For Candlelight packages they often get released a few restaurants at a time.

Fantasmic! packages were released a little late when I was last trying to book (meaning the packages opened up a few hours after everything else at 60-days-+-length-of-stay). However, I know they can, and often do, come out later.

I'd suggest checking back daily, and/or setting a touringplans.com reservation finder for the date(s) you want.

A simple rule of life I've had to learn early on is that if you do things on your own and not have others do them for you, then you wind up having more money and a greater sense of accomplishment.

How do you figure you have more money? Were you referring to the Touring Plans reservation finder that @weatherlady mentioned - because that’s free.

Another simple rule: if you don't know what you're replying about, please Google it first, before insulting others.

The reservation finder is free and takes seconds to set up -- and the feeling of accomplishment is achieved when it gets you a reservation you couldn't get on your own even if you were checking constantly every day, while you got to focus on more important aspects of your life.

My wife for some reason makes me wake up at 5 or 6 am whatever it is to make reservations after I feed the chickens and milk the cows.
