DME question: May need to alter plans

My Husbands grandma is terminally ill and will pass away soon. Is it possible that husband delay a few days & still use DME, or can he leave and return using DME? This is such a sad time during our happy time! Who should I contact if this will be necessary? We do have vacation insurance.

I do not mean to sound insensitive, Im just stressed!!

Im pretty sure Im in the same situation, without the unfortunate death of a love one. I asked here and was told to just contact DME and they would take care of it. I have yet to do so though, so I don't know how it will work.

As said in the other thread, you're allowed to use DME for transport to the hotel on or after check-in day, and transport back to the airport on or before check-out day.

If your husband's arrival flight plans change, just call DME (866-599-0951) and let them know of the change.
If the departure plans change, either DME or the resort's front desk can assist you in changing his pickup for return to the airport.
