DME for return to airport only?

My family and I will be flying into Orlando and renting a car and staying off site before we spend a few days on property. My question is this, Is DME available to use to get from the hotel to the airport? If so, is there anything we have to do? Our reservations mentioned DME but we never input any flight info? It read some other posts which say the bus will pick you up 3 hours before scheduled flight. Is that the earliest time available or can you be picked up closer to flight time?

Yes, you can book DME for only one direction. If you haven't given the flight info to Disney, give them a call back and have them add it to your reservation.

You'll be automatically scheduled for a pickup 3 hours before your flight (+/- 15 minutes). You'll get your pickup time in an envelope left under your door the day before you check out.

There is no way to request a later pickup time. If you want to leave later, you'll have to arrange your own transportation.

Are you planning to keep the car while at Disney? If not, you could return the car ( I'm assuming at the airport ) and use DME to get to your resort. Just give DME arrival flight info for that day.

We wont have a car while there. We did call them and get it all set up. Thanks for the reply.
