DME for International Travelers

Hello, this is my first post in the forum! I think this is the right place to ask this... I made a reservation through Disney's website for my WDW vacation next month, I chose Disney Magical Express as transportation from MCO to Pop Century -where I'm staying. However, I was not able to provide my flight details since the city I'm flying from is outside USA and was not listed. Will I be able to get on the DME having reserved a spot but not giving my flight info? Has anyone experienced this as well?

Thanks!
Ed

If you are truly using DME and not the transport provided through, say, Virgin (common for UK visitors)...then you should be fine.

The flight details are for routing your luggage, nothing more. You won't have any issues if you can't provide them, as long as you have the vouchers provided or have it attached to your Magicband (yes, they can scan it off your band).

You do not need to use their luggage services. In 4 trips, I never have. I'm a bit paranoid about wanting to see my luggage make it safely to MCO before heading off to the resorts...so, I take the luggage on the bus with me.

They also have a large customer service bay there specifically for situations like this. It's off to the right as you approach the MDE loading area.

Enjoy your trip!

My pleasure. If you have a lot of luggage, they may ask that you go through Customer Service to get it checked with Disney after you pick it up at Baggage Claim after your flight.

But, otherwise, they'll just load it under the bus before you depart.

We have never had to check bags before, largest was a group of 8 of us, about 10 suitcases, and various carry on bags, one wheelchair one pushchair, and it all went under the bus, i think the bus driver enjoyed the tip for that one
