DME Documents

I’m leaving for Florida tonight. I’m arriving a week prior to my Disney stay, so not
using DME for my arrival. However, I will be using it at check-out. After checking
Saturday’s mail, I still had no DME documents. I called DME and was told if the arrival time is “open or blank” they mail documents. If the arrival time is noted “no” documents are not sent and the pickup letter is your boarding voucher. I’ve been to WDW many, many times with this same itinerary and always received documents. My concern being, receiving documents confirmed they had my flight info.

Have any of you experienced this or might it be a new policy for DME?

Maybe you could stop in when you land in Orlando, just to check? I bet your hotel could help, too.

Just call to confirm your DME! And make sure your front desk knows about your situation if you don't have the paperwork!

Just call DME!...they'll assure your worry and give you all the info you need.

I can confirm that the notice you get on your door with your bus pickup time can be used to board the bus back to the airport. It's not necessary to get the booklet in the mail if you're not taking DME *from* the airport. (And even then, if you don't get the booklet it's just a quick stop at the desk for them to print something out for you)

If the rep on the phone confirmed they have your correct departure flight info, then you're all set.

If you are only using DME for departure service from Disney, you will not receive anything in the mail. You will use the doc they hang on your resort room door the day before your departure. That will give you your pick up time and your voucher to board the motorcoach.
