DME after 10pm?

I am arriving next week on a flight that is due to get in at 9:50 pm (if by some miracle not delayed out of Newark NJ). Set up for DME. I have been on this flight before and had no issues with Disney picking up the luggage and then calling the luggage area at the hotel in the AM for delivery. Just read on my package (which I very rarely ever read) that if you arrive after 10pm, you are required to take your own luggage from the carousel. Is it still an option for them to pick it up and deliver it the next day to your room? It was last May, and I am wondering if that changed. Any ideas?

I was reading up on it just now, and it appears it stopped in 2009....I would like to know how it happened last year, unless I got in at 9:59.

If your plane touches down by 9:59 they WILL take your luggage that night. You may not get it for up to 3 hours later, but it will get to your room. If you land after 10 pm they will put it in a secured location at MCO and deliver it early the next morning. We have been there in both situations and never had a problem. We waited once and found we were better off packing stuff for that night and the next day and heading straight to our resort. No matter what if you put the yellow tags on Disney will take your bags. If they are tagged and you land after 10 pm, the bags will not come out on the luggage belt so plan accordingly.

Quite frankly, if you are arriving that late, just pick up your luggage. It takes less than 10 minutes for it to arrive at the carousel -- and you will have it upon arrival, not 1 or 1:30 am...You'll be nestled in bed long before, and you won't disturb your sleeping neighbors with all that noise at 1:00 am...

Only concern is having luggage, mom who is not walking so well, and daughter, who at 10pm (and too old for carriage) will be more than ready for bed! Just love DME for that reason. Plus, we leave directions at the front desk to hold luggage til AM anyway, and we call when we get up.

So here is a radom question similar to the OP's... we are due to get into MCO at 8;30p in June. We plan to have DME deliver our bags to us, but I was justing thinking with weather in june, what if there are flight delays and for some reason we are delayed and we don't land until 10p or later and the yellow tags are already on our luggage. Will they automatically just put our luggage on the carousal for us to pick up or what?
