I'm going to DLRP for a couple days next week! It'll be our first time going. I'm a WDW veteran and I've been to DL, SDL, and TDL. Any advice?

Btw, I'll be there on Thursday! (but as I'll spend most of my day with a guy from Disney, this info is probably irrelevant; limited time to meet.)

whats the best way to get there from the Champs Elysées? Also, what's the best food at the parks?

RER A from the Arc of Triumph. 45 min train ride, goes every 10 min or so.
Assuming budget is a non-topic, Walt's; on Main Street USA. Make sure that you get a reservation (it's probably too late already, although you're going into a low season). At the Studios Park, the Ratatouille restaurant (Bistrot Chez Rémy). You also have the Disneyland Hotel restaurants that are very pricey but good, and have a great view. "Inventions" is a buffet-style; California Grill is a sit down.

I’m not sure reservations are essential if you are going midweek. And even if you aren’t, they still may not be. We walked into Walt’s a few weeks ago during the school holiday week just before Halloween; the parks were more crowded than I’ve ever seen them, but we had no problem getting a table for lunch. Enjoy (and bring warm clothes!)
We got our reservation for Walt's on Thanksgiving. We also got a room at the DL Hotel with a park view. Thanks for the info! I'll look into the RER train.

I second using the RER. From the Charles de Gaulle Etoile station at the Arc de Triomphe take the RER A to Marne-la-Vallée — Chessy. Be sure the direction says Marne-la-Vallée — Chessy as the RER A splits and goes into different directions. Take the train all the way to the end. The train station is right outside the DLP entrance.
A tip on buying train tickets is that many ticket machines in Europe require a chip and pin which is rare for an American issued credit card. If you don't have one, you may have to go to the ticket window.
Thanks for the advice! The SO and I pack light with one small piece of luggage and a backpack for each of us. Our hotel is on the Champs Elysées and is like a 5-10 minute walk from the station I think. I was planning on taking a taxi but it sounds like the RER A is a bit quicker. We're from Tampa FL so a mass transit train is unique to us haha so I definitely prefer it.

I took the RER train a couple of times from Paris to DLP back when I was on a shoestring budget touring during college (2000) and found it to be great. Are you planning on doing a trip report? I am just starting the planning for an August trip with DW and kids.
Haven't thought of that. I might!
To comment on the parks themselves..... DLRP is easy going in my opinion in terms of crowds (especially mid-week).
To the delight of many the old style FastPass kiosk system is still in place so be prepared to trek to get your FP reservation tickets.
Essential FP:
Disneyland Parc- I'd say Peter Pan's Flight and Big Thunder are the only essential FP needed in this park. Space Mountain is usually a modest wait which is a relief compared to it's American cousins.
Studios Park- This one is a little more tricky. I find Tower of Terror a longer wait than at WDW so FP could be useful. Rattatouie is also a good FP to have BUT don't despair as if you don't get one there's an excellent single rider option. Crush Coaster there is no FP so just head there early/first/suck up the wait time. Rock n Roller Coaster (If it's still open?!) for some reason is always a shorter wait than it's American counterpart.
Feel free to add-agree-disagree.
All in all- DLRP is much easier to manage if you visit on a reasonable crowd day (of which it has many)

The Christmas events will be on at the moment.
Mickeys Big Band gets great reports in the Studios, as does the parade in the Magic Kingdom.
