DL Ticket/App question

Hi, I have the Disneyland app on my phone and two tickets that were purchased in my friend's name last year. The tickets haven't expired yet, so I was going to use them and pay him back for what he paid for them. My question is this: Since the app is in my name and the tickets are in my friend's name, will I have a problem using them? I know they take your picture when you enter the park, and it will be me using the tix both days, so that part shouldn't be a problem. I also don't think I've ever seen CMs ask someone for their ID when they enter the park. But my concern is since the app's in my name, but the tix aren't, will that send up alarm bells and cause me to be denied entry with my friend's tix? TIA for any insights any of you can provide!

When I go with my parents they always purchase their tickets separately (either through the DL site or Undercover Tourist) and I just add them to my account and there's never a problem. It usually asks me to assign names when I add them to my app. I don't think names are hard-linked to anything on the Disney side, but exist to tell which ticket belongs to whom when using Lightning Lane or assigning a ticket to a magic band.

You could go through the process of linking the ticket to your account in the app and see if it automatically uses your friend's name or if it asks you to assign it yourself. Like you said, they don't ask for ID at the gate. The picture they take will just be used to identify you for reentry for the duration of the use of that ticket.
