Okay, now that I'm actually awake, I shall post my illustrated update! The links all go to pics I took during the day.
And for those helping me keep track: 36 now!
Th park was reallly pretty dead. Even Splash only had a 90 minute wait all day. HM was almost a walk-on with FastPass gone now. Pirates was listed at 15 minutes, also
without FastPass. Now that the Pirates FP is gone, they have a new queue path that splits off, and guests go either way.
Road Trip had a new stage look that I'd never seen before. Nice and shaded for them, finally!
BTMP remains, of course, closed. They had a photographer out towards the ranch, taking photos for guests - was there always someone there? I've never seen that before. The Country Picnic is also open, although I didn't eat there - I'm not a fan of cold chicken. Looked pretty empty to me, though, and they had a CM who was walking around yelling "Howdy, howdy, howdy!" trying to draw attention to it. Cute, if a bit annoying.
The Hyperion has changed their queue setup again. All guests are once again entering through the actual entrance, where previously only the VIP seat holders went. I find it a bit odd that they did that, because you no longer walk right by the churro cart to enter.
Not too much else to report! I videotaped both the Aladdin and Jasmine Storytelling (since it's going away at the end of the month) and Imagine. I had a great spot for Imagine, standing on a bench in front of the castle, right in front of a speaker. So I'll try and get at least Imagine encoded on the computer this weekend.
And I just had to share this photo, which cracked me up. Notice, ten minutes before the parade, that the shady side of the street is PACKED, and the sunny side is completely empty.
All my pics for the day are all up at http://xfkirsten.fotopic.net/c231800.html
Oh, and one last bit of SUPER important news about the Aladdin show at DCA, because I know you're all dying to know...
Aladdin has new pants.
