A new page on DL.com highlighting Pixie Hollow (Note- you may have to log in as an AP) with an opening date and some info but nothing really new.

Pixie Hollow takes over Ariel's Grotto at Disneyland.
For the thread on where Ariel is moving to-

Coming October 28, 2008!

Meet the famed fairy Tinker Bell and her best friends — Silvermist, Iridessa, Fawn and Rosetta — at the new Pixie Hollow. As you make your journey along a winding pathway that skirts the banks of an enchanted pond, you'll feel like you've magically shrunk to fairy size.
  • Don't forget your camera. Fairies love to have their pictures taken.
  • Share your most secret wishes, hopes and desires because fairies are the best listeners.
  • Discover how snowflakes are shaped, what gives stars their twinkle and who gives bees their buzz

Im interested to see what the area will look like when all is done. Mainly the pond and landscape since you can do so much with both and the lighting. DLR seems to do wonders with the LED lighting around the park.

Ok so now that the Ariel meet and greet is now closed. Theres now walls around the area. (I'll find the pics again later) but same type of walls Main Street gets only blue not the light tan/brown with lattice, and not the Fantasyland style ones Matterhorn gets when its refurbished. Yes DLR has different themed walls for different lands and I notice :) haha

Hey, I notice too, no worries.:animwink:

I hope that the M&G is all that it's been hyped up to be. What with the supposed illusion that you'll shrink down to fairy size, and it sounds like they will use some sort of LED lighting.

^ Glad Im not the only who notices lol.

I kinda think Fantasia Gardens would have been a better spot since its already a meadow but I guess that would have cost to much for a meet a greet. It will be nice with the Matterhorn looming over and looking forward to seeing what happens with the pond.
