Pre-Trip DiveQuest! Scuba Dive @ Living Seas (Epcot)

Since being certified (and marrying my dive instructor ), diving at Living Seas, DiveQuest has been on my "bucket list." I've read nothing but positive reviews from those that have done it. It's pricy at $180. To put it in perspective, a boat dive in FL will cost you around $80, and includes 2 dives and tanks. With a typical dive you have to supply your own gear (which is not a problem for us) but does not guarantee all the cool thing you'd see! DiveQuest supplies everything and allows you to dive in a real live Disney Aquarium!!! It also includes a tour of the facilities, set-up and break down of gear and a 40 min dive. And I'm assuming we don't tip the CM.

It includes all gear but you can bring your own mask (due to people needing prescription lenses on their masks.) I may see if I can bring my own as I have a hard time fitting my face to one comfortably.

BTW, you must be dive certified.

I cannot wait! We go on May 1st with our Dive scheduled for May 2nd.

We've done the Aqua Seas Tour twice and loved it! This is the surface swim with mask, regulator and tank. You are submerged about a foot. The behind the scenes tour is pretty neat and on both occasions we got to see dolphins being trained after our "dive". I've honestly never seen my DD, 12, smile so much after an experience. She has since been saving her own money to become certified so we can do the big dive. The problem is finding a place to get certified up here in the blue ridge mountains!

And I'm assuming we don't tip the CM.

We tried twice and on both occasions each CM implied, with thanks, that he would add this to the conservation fund.


To me, $180 gets you an informative behind the scenes tour, Im guessing a photo for each guest like we got, and then your dive time. No brainer if you ask me! Have a great time!
