Distance to parks from Art of Animation Resort?

Does anyone know how far The Art of Animation Resort is from The Magic Kingdom and the Animal Kingdom? I am just trying to get an idea on the time frame to and from the Resort? How often do the buses run? I remember seeing a post a while ago about how much time the transportation took but now I can’t find it. Any info would help.

Distance is largely irrelevant when dealing with Disney transportation. The buses run approximately every 20 minutes and you will want to set aside 45-60 minutes to get anywhere in WDW using the buses. It will quite frequently be less than that, but a perfect storm of circumstances can have you using every bit of that 60 minutes.

Yep Yoda is right. If using the busses, the actual distance has very little to do with it. It is all about how the busses are arriving, the route they take, any wheelchair guests, how full they are.

If you are going by car, Art of Animation is within 5 minutes of anywhere on property, approx.

AOA has pick up's at other resorts where as the PC the bus is only used for that resort.

This is incorrect. AOA has dedicated bus service, just like PC.
