Distance at Epcot to back of WS from entrance

Does anyone have the distance from the Epcot Entrance to the far point of the World Showcase? From what I can gather, it's 1.2 miles from the front of World Showcase to the American Adventure. If that's right, I'd say there's something like 0.5-0.6 miles from the PARK entrance to the WS entrance.

So I estimate that you would walk about 1.8 miles to the back of WS from the front door, one way. Does that make sense?

Try runningmap.com and plot the course.

I just did, and from the front entrance of Epcot to World Showcase Plaza, then around World Showcase via the Mexico side to the point in front of American Adventure came up with .82 miles.
