I think the amount of information is poor, but I think finding the information I'm looking for is quite easy.

If I'm really looking for something though, I'd go to a fan site first rather than the official site.

Yah I guess I will have to agree with u there. It might be easy but it just doesn't have what I look for. Does anybody have an easier and for informative site than disneyworld.com or wdwmagic.com

I definitely think that disneyworld.com leaves a lot to be desired in the info department, but then again, we are Disney hungry freaks! It's sort of like watching the vacation planning videos- I wish they were about 2 hours long and went through the good rides in great detail, but in reality, WDW is using the videos and the website to try to advertise their product without overwhelming the audience.
I'd say that I'd like to see more pictures on the site of attractions and a little more detail about park news, but once again...

I guess if nothing else, disneyworld.com is good for showing our friends of the non-Disney variety what it's about without "bugging" them.

As for us, we'll have to stick to spend most of our time on wdwmagic.com for "the good stuff"!:p

DISNEYWORLD.com is very, very, very much JUST information. They don't show, tell, or let you know too much. Everything is glamourized, like the pictures, and everything is very frank, nothing in between. I like WDWMAGIC (and here!!!) the best.

You could try wdwig.com...there's a TON of info on that site.

I agree it took me forever to find the pages on each individual ride! I think that all the other disney park sites are much better! I think there is a lot more info and pics here at wdwmagic and it's all easly accessible.

One thing to keep in mind, Disneyworld.com is geared toward people who have never been to WDW and don't really know what's there. Sites like this one wdwmagic.com are great sites for us Disney buffs that love the extra info. I'd say both kinds of sites are fine, you just have to remember who they are geared for.

I would recommend intercot.com if you want something different from here. It's got realplayer video and audio clips for certain attractions and rides in all the parks. Easy to lose an hour or two of your life on that site! I prefer this site better though. :D

disneyworld.com to me is informative but for new comers who are wondering how to plan a first time trip or something. We are the true Disney lovers who crave more and more than just the bare essentials.

Thanks again Steve for such a WONDERFUL, and informative site! You give disneyworld.com a run for their money!!:sohappy:

Disneyworld.com tells us only what Disney wants to know, WHEN they want us to know it. It presents only a fraction of what a true Disneyphile needs/wants to know. I agree it is hard to navigate and not the best way to find information about WDW. I rarely use it.

Have any of you guys seen Disneyland's website?? It rocks! When you run your mouse over the different lands it plays "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes"! it's really cool. Also they have some ride videos(I think or I might be geting it mixed up with Disneyland Paris)! It's really cool definantly something to see!
