disneyworld.com airfare discounts?

I am working on booking a WDW trip for December. I am using a travel agent since I would like to take advantage of the Visa Free Dining promotion. In the past I have used Disneyworld.com to book my vacation and I am using this web site to get quotes and compare hotels, etc...

We have a party of 5. If I book a flight through American Airlines combined with my package on disneyworld.com it is $262 less than if I book this airfare with the exact same flights on aa.com. Does Disney discount airfare if you combine it with the vacation package?

I believe that sometimes Disney has negotiated bulk rates for air.

I was under the impression that you had to use a travel agent to use the Visa Disney Free Dining offer. I was able to book this over the phone directly with disney and saved on the airfare. $1200 airfare from DFW to Orlando for 5 people is hard to beat! I used the extra money to book one additional day at disney so I also get one additional day of free dining! I hope the weather is nice in Decemeber.
