DisneyWorld and your Family

Do any of you have fond memories of visiting the parks with your family? I look back and think some of the best times I had with my family were on the WDW trips. We would always bring my grandparents on the trip and they were like little kids when they were in the park!

actually, everytime (well all 3 of them!), have been "family" events for me, my parents & sister have always been there also. On our last trip, my husband, kids & I flew to Orlando and met my parents there (who drove down from Michigan) and my sister (who flew over from Australia). So it was a Disney holiday for my international family, needless to say, we don't all get together like that very often. and it was great to see my kids and their grandparents having fun in the MK.

I just remember truly being a family. WIhtout fighting, yelling or anything like that. It was just so much fun. My parents really took care of us down there. They just wanted to see us happy.

 

[Just A Big Kid]

Everytime we go (me, my wife, and my daughter) is great. We've been for the past 3 summers in a row. It was cool for my daughter's first trip to go during 2000 and see the millenium celebration. Then when we went this summer (mid-June) we took my wife's family (mom,dad,sis, and bro) and even though we must have gotten there during MONSOON SEASON :lol: and it rained just about all day for 6 of 7 days, we had a blast. I love sharing Disney with someone for their first time. Kinda re-kindles the magic

We're the first generation of our family to visit WDW - my kids love it just as much as we do. Hopefully, as they grow older, they will continue to visit and who knows, they may even pay for their mum and dad when we get older :lol:

We all go as a family when we go - the only way to go.
