Help me brainstorm a concept I have. This is a different kind of theme park - not your ordinary Disney park. The emphasis is a educational entertainment rather than rides. It would be a stand alone park in the middle of a desert on a high plain, far enough from civilization that there is no light pollution. No cars or motored vehicles would be allowed near the park in order to control light, noise, and air pollution any where near the park. People would park at garages far from the theme park. From there, quiet, underground, electric automated shuttles would take guests to the park.
The park would consist of the World's largest astro-telescope on the top of a mountain and many smaller ones. Guests would be allowed to view the telescopes and the celestial objects from theaters where they could interact with professional astronomers.
Clustered around the telescopes would be gigantic planetariums, with a variety of shows playing continually. Another attraction would be a giant air and space museum and a massive museum of natural history. The park would also include conference rooms and classrooms and real accredited classes on astronomy and astro physics and other sciences and arts could be offered. Space related shops and space themed food courts would also be included.
A huge outdoor area could be enclosed in a sturdy glass-like ceiling and an environment controlled indoor/outdoor campground could offer guests a place to sleep at night where they can literally look up to see a natural light show of shooting stars and the Milky Way. An indoor night-time water park with glass enclosing could project moon light into reflective pools of water.
