The Walt Disney Company is proud to announce the resort's second gate, DisneySea Greece, located in Athens, at the Disneyland Resort. The unpredicted announcement of building yet another European resort proved to be a huge success. The Disneyland park, also known as 'The Magic Kingdom', has drawn in the last five years over 14 million annual visitors. After the overwhelming success of the resort rumors started leaking regarding a new park. Today, the 17th of July, 2036, exactly five years after the resort's opening the Disney company has announced its second gate, "DisneySea".
This magical park is rumored to be one of the company's most ambitious projects since the construction of EuroDisney. The company has promised to create one of Disney's most immersive theme parks, provided with all new rides and themed lands. So far much of the project is kept secret although Disney has already provided information regarding one of the park's themed lands. Disney has decided to keep most of the park's traditional themes, thus the Mediterranean Harbor will serve as the park's main entrance to many more 'Ports of Call'.
Construction has already began on this amazing land and Disney has already provided a photo of the new area and information regarding attractions.
"Welcoming you to Tokyo DisneySea is a southern European port town bubbling with excitement and activity. Stroll the streets of a charming fishing village on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, ride a gondola through the romantic canals reminiscent of Venice and experience the Golden Age of Exploration abroad a 16th century Galleon and within the walls of a Renaissance era fortress."
