Anyone play this game yet? This game is off the chain! (That means its cool).

Any of you game junkies out there who have played Tony Hawk 4, this game runs off the same engine as THPS4.

Unfortunaly, it has a lack of character, they feature

Buzz, Woody, Jessie, Young Tarzan and Jane, Tantor, Simba, Nala, Rafiki (Who knew he was a skater), Timon and pumba, and a few other hidden characters, plus a few of the kids that they used to make the kids models in the game.

Theres only four worlds, Toy Story 2, Tarzan and The Pride Lands, Oillieworld ( Ollie A skating term for those who dont know), is the kids "world" and each one (Excluding the kids world) has three sub areas, like Toy Story has Andy's Room, Pizzia Planet and Zurgs planet (Although I have yet to see Zurg anywhere)

The music, is pretty good as well, and for a disney game, the music was a surprise to me, its not 50 Cent, Nelly type music but its got a lot of music you normally wouldnt see in a disney game, but the song I like the most is from Smashmouth, I guess since Disney Interactive was helping to make this game and since theres a certain type of music in skating they did it that way.

A lot of the character from those movies are in there as well, Rex, Hamm, weezie, the green army men, and the green alien men are some of the ones you'll see in Toy Story.

Basically, its a lot of fun even if your not a big skating fan, I just got the game a few hours ago so Im still messing around with it, so Ill try to get a review of it up soon.

what platforms was this released on? I picked up the one for the GBA... and it's decent. Not exactly the greate4st ting in the world but also not the worst either.
It takes a bit of getting used to for the controls... and trying to figure out various button combos for pulling tricks. And of course there's the whole steering thing from above that annoys the living hell out of me...
GBA score... a 2 out of 5...

Now if it's out for something like the GameCube or PS2... then I'll have to look at it from that standpoint because I'd figure they would use the graphics to their benefit and dramatically improve what was shown on the GBA. If not then I see no real hope for this game... and to think disney might have actually been trying to make a serious name for themselves within the videogame industry.

I think you're thinking of the Konami developed Disney Sports Skateboarding. The entire series was trash. This is developed by Activision. I have a Beta review burn of it for Xbox -- I like it so far.

Also -- Disney will never make a good name for itself in the industry (KH was more on the coat tails of Square's rep IMO) until they clean house. Buena Vista Interactive has some knuckleheads running the place, some of whom are washouts from other companies.
