The first teaser trailer is up for Disney's Planes..This is the first time it will not be animated by Pixar but by Disney's Toon Studios..And I gotta say it's pretty impressive that it has that Pixar look to the characters..

Thats funny, I was like geez just completely copy cars why dont you. Then it said, from the world above cars and I was like Ohhhhhhhhhhh OK. From the trailer it looks like they did a very good job at capturing the feel from cars. Im Just curious why they are doing a 3rd movie in the cars universe.

Interesting. Different feel of this than Cars, spotlighting the military. It's been a while since we had a great Disney patriotic film that makes you stand up with pride. I wonder how much are they going to show fighter jets weaponry vs the enemy. Will anti military folks rail against Disney?

A bit more info here. John Lassester is involved with the picture. It seems it is about a race more than fighting. As a plane enthusiast and near private pilot I am excited. It's almost as Disney Studios felt comfortable enough to undertake this and leave Pixar to new and larger things. From the trailer, I am very content with that.
