Especially interesting because Disney was playing the long game with their version of Cindy Moon.

Whoa, this one came out of nowhere!

I'm interested to see what they do. But I hope it doesn't oversaturate the market with Spiderman related characters. Because there's some characters that just don't deserve their own show or movie (Kraven, Madame Web). For instance, "No Way Home" is an awesome movie, but "Morbius" just isn't and he can't carry his own movie franchise. He's not even a second tier villain for Spiderman. That's like giving Man Bat or Clayface their own solo films.

Sony has been mostly failing at bringing to production all the Spider-Man spin-off projects that they have 'under development.'

If all they're doing is throwing money at some third party to make it happen, it may actually happen, especially with Amazon being the one to order it up.

It seems like they are throwing poop at the wall to see what sticks.

I actually do want to see Silk though. They can give her a decent origin and can use all the villains that Spiderman won't.

And in an act that surprises no one, Sony is trying everything they can to keep their failing Spiderverse going in order to keep the rights. Its really only been "Into the Spider-Verse" and the first "Venom" that have had success, anything else successful was connected to the MCU, with the rest failing.

If this one ends up failing too wonder if they'll kiss Feige's ring again to try and save it.
