Disney's Hollywood Studios 2.0

Here is my idea for a new Hollywood Studios like how in Anaheim there's a new DCA. And this could be a little less expensive.

- Remove the hat and make the Earful Tower the park's icon again (or the Grauman's Theater)
- Update The Great Movie Ride

Untitled Star Wars Land:
- Star Tours: Fly on an epic adventure through the galaxy of Star Wars (we already have this)
- Mos Eisley Cantina: A retheme of the nearby restaurant
- D-Ticket: Comment below what d-ticket of Star Wars you'd like to see in the area of American Idol and Drew Carey.

Muppet Pavilion:
- MuppetVision 3D: As much of a Muppet fan I am we have to update the film (I know it's Henson's last Muppet film). We can have it like Star Tours that every section of the show is randomized so Gonzo may do a different stunt, Piggy may sing another song, etc.
- Bunsen and Beaker Rocket: A small outdoor kiddy coaster of Bunsen and Beaker (where the fence next to Studio 51 is.
- Swedish Chef Smorgesborg: Restaurant themed to the Swedish Chef in the place of Pizza Planet
- Muppet Meet And Greets: You can meet Kermit and Mrs. Piggy (puppets) where Mama Melrose used to be

Pixar Place:
- Toy Story Midway Mania: Andy brought home a new carnival set and the toys are here to play it with you
- Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor: The monsters invite you into their comedy club (Imported from MK to the Prince Caspian building)
- Al's Toy Barn: Place to buy all your Pixar Merchandise and to meet all your Pixar characters
- A Bug's Set: Refurbish and rename the "Honey I Shrunk The Kid's Playground"
- Cafe Ratatouille: A quick-service restaurant themed to Ratatouille
- The Incredibles Omnidroid Attack: Outdoor c-ticket Dumbo spinner but the arms are the Omnidroid's arms.

Animation Courtyard:
- The Great Animation Ride: A KUKA arm ride through the greatest moments of Disney Animation. (Not a thrill, but the Kuka will be used to make swift movements that make you feel like you're flying, on a boat, falling, etc.)
- Untitled Roger Rabbit Show: Inside the Little Mermaid Theater there can be a show similar to Stitch's Great Escape but by accident Roger Rabbit puts you in peril and the lights shut off and he's trying to fix it which ends bad.
- D-Ticket: Comment below what you think should be in the space of Disney Jr. theatre

Sunset Boulevard:
- Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: Plunge 13 stories in this terrifying ride
- Rock 'n Rollercoaster Starring Aerosmith: Go through a wild ride through Hollywood
- Character Meet and Greets: Here you can meet Mickey, Donald, Minnie, Roger Rabbit, and
Goofy (something for the kids while they ride Tower of Terror and Rock 'n Rollercoaster)
- Tangled The Show!: A show of Tangled inside the Beauty and The Beast amphitheater
- Fantasmic!: A major refurbishment of Fantasmic!

1. I think the time for a full Star Wars Land has passed. Star Tours is spectacular, I might update the exterior to the surrounding area, but that's about it. Add some Star Wars buildings and propping to the street, and you know what would be fun? A Living Character greet for C-3PO and R2-D2.

2. I'm all for expanding a Muppet Presence, but why then need to update Muppetvision? Swedish Chef Restaurant is a given, so well done there. What Fence exactly is that you're talking about for a coaster? What I would like to see for Mama Melrose is to make the whole Muppet Greet a HUGE Experience. Go to the iconic Muppet theater, and have a walk-through tour with scenes with Gonzo, Rizzo, Fozzie, Sweetums, The Electric Mayhem, etc, before getting to the big Finale with Kermit and Piggy doing Rainbow Connection at the end, (where the photo-op would be). What do you think of that?

3. What is the status of the Backlot Tour in your expansion. I only ask because you don't specify the location of your Incredibles spinner.

4. Roger Rabbit's time has passed. He's no longer the icon he once was, I might put the tangled show here instead and update the BATB show on sunset (It still packs the house, and BATB is still a huge franchise). Disney Jr. May not be to your taste, but it also packs the house, there are a lot of kids who want to see these characters, and they do update this show fairly often with new Disney Preschool shows. I think it would be unwise to remove it completely.

5. Where is your character greet located? And what characters would do sorcerer hat greets if you changed that? What does your Fantasmic refurb entail?

Those are my questions. Feel free to address them or not.

That won't be true for long; Robert Zemeckis confirmed that he is making a sequel to Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. Besides, Roger can still be found on some merchandise in the parks (pins, Walt Disney World 2012 tote bag, Jessica Rabbit chocolate box, etc.).

Sequels and prequels to Roger Rabbit have been confirmed several times since the mid nineties, and nothing has happened. The Current project that I'm guessing you're referring to has been in development since 2010. It has no steam right now, so it is nothing to count on.

If it ever does happen, rest assured it will be quite an event, but until then, The character is nothing to count on.

3. The Incredibles Spinner would be in the soundstage to Toy Story's right. (So it would be Incredibles, Toy Story, Monsters Inc from left to right of attractions)

5. The meet and greets can replace any store of choice

What about right at the beginning of the street? I always thought that the old car would be a great place for a character photo, and there's a small store with a semi-circular back wall right at the head of the street that is not connected to any of the other stores. So You could almost make it like the character Spot, First Minnie and Goofy in front of the Car, Then Roger Rabbit near the planters, then go inside for Mickey and Donald. Then you can exit the other side toward Villains in Vogue. Just an idea.

I like the ideas that you have. I always enjoy thinking about this stuff so here is what my finished park would look like

Hollywood Blvd:

The Great Movie Ride - updated and rethemed to be sort of like spaceship earth, but instead we time travel through cinema, starting with the past classics and working our way up until the present.

Sci-Fi Land:

Star Tours 3D
Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye - from DL; replaces the stageshow
Alien Encounter - placed in the old Sounds Dangerous studio
Tron - replaces American Idol, instead of guests singing, now guests can actually be inside of a video game just like in the film

Restaurants
Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina (replaces the barn in between indy and star tours)
Sci-Fi Dine in Theater (included now in Sci-Fi Land)

Streets of America:

Muppet Vision 4D - update the show a tad with some new effects
Backlot Tour - remove the pre-show on Pearl Harbor, but keep the ride
Lights Motors Action - leave the same

Pixar Place:

Toy Story Midway Mania
Monster's Inc Doors Coaster - build in area next to TSMM in addition to the land where the backlot preshow was
A Bug's Land - replaces Honey I Shrunk the Kids
Pixar Palace - replaces Narnia building showing off future pixar films

Restaurants:
Pizza Planet (moved to replace Studio Catering Co.)

Animation Courtyard:

Walt Disney: One Man's Dream
The Little Mermaid Show
The Magic of Disney Animation - expand to give guests a more interactive experience
Disney Junior - can always be replaced with another kid show down the road, but for now can stay the same.

Sunset Blvd:

Tower of Terror
Rockin Roller Coaster
Beauty and the Beast stage show
Fantasmic - update storyline and effects

Possible land in way down in the future. Marvel World. The best place I think for it to be added is in between Star Tours and the Muppets. Just redirect the roadway and build away! Iron Man, Spider-man, captain america, the list can go on but that won't be for some time. But for now that would be my plan.

Wow okay, complete change.

Questions: Is TRON a show in the superstar television theater? Cause that's what it sounds like.

Are you just re-theming Honey I shrunk the Kids or are you actually installing similar attractions as a Bugs Land at DCA?

Yeah tron would be in the superstar theater. And the bugs land would just be a re-theme of the honey I shrunk the kids playset

A few questions:
1. Indiana Jones won't fit the theme of Sci-Fi Land.
2. Can you elaborate on what this Tron attraction is?

Indiana Jones is Science Fiction though, especially if you've seen the 4th one. And the Science Fiction land doesn't have to have a tomorrowland style theme to it. I envisioned it as more a mix of everything. From inside video games (Tron) to space (Star Tours) to monsters (alien encounter) and adventure into the unknown (Indy)

And since there is not a lot of room in the american idol stage, this tron attraction will not be huge. More of an innoventions type thing, but a lot more interactive, where the main attraction would be where you actually get to design your own level and play it. I'm only trying to be realistic based on the space available. Of course a huge roller coaster would be cool, but it's not possible in that location.

So I'm imagining the Tron attraction would be similar to Cyber Space Mountain at DisneyQuest? (You build your own ride)

Do you guys think an expanded Music area of DHS would be good with Rock 'n Rollercoaster being there and other things as well?

Yea somewhat, but not really a roller coaster like that, more vitrual reality. I don't know, I'm just trying to think outside the box.

And I think an expanded disney music area could land us with more jonas brothers, hannah montana, and other disney channel music stuff. I don't really want that haha. But maybe a theater next to rockin roller coaster that can hold concerts and such, like the american adventure stage in epcot. That would be cool! Just no hannah montana roller coasters please....

I did an Imaginations Competition on a Tron ride, pretty much starting at the Encom Tower and have Dueling LightCycles :')
but it would have required a big amount of space. I was pretty much proposing having a story being told in a rollercoaster.
I feel like rollercoasters are always just for the thrill and lose all the story you gained from the queue. ( sorry i'm just ranting lol. )
