Disney's Hilton Head Resort

My buddies and I, are going to the resort in May for a fishing/golf trip. Anyone have suggestions on other things to do or tips on resturants to try? Anyone know of good inexpensive golf courses on the island?
Any tips about the resort?

Hemmingways is a great place for lunch. The sunrise cafe is a REALLY good local eatery for breakfast too. The crab cakes benedict are amazing. I can't think for the life of me of the name of our favorite sports bar there, but it's right behind McDonalds...

Edit: If you mention you're staying at Disney at Palmetto Dunes, they offer discounted rates.

There are several good restaurants just across the lagoon from the resort, and hundreds within 10 -15 minute drive.

Lots to do, beach, golf, fishing, tennis, swimming pool. Savannah GA about 1 hour away, Carleston SC about 2 hours.

I go to grad school in Savannah – which is only 45mins away from HH. It's a beautiful city, what you think of when you picture a southern town. Lots of fun touristy things to do.

My parents are thinking of taking a short vacation to HH in the near future, and of course I'll have to stay with them! :animwink:
