I have a park idea for Disney's fifth park. It would be an America theme. It would have seven "lands". The lands are:
New York (Main Street)
Americana Central
Alaska
Hawaii
Mt. Rushmore
The Grand Canyon
Washington D.C.

I have made maps of the park with a similar layout to the MK. I'll post the attractions balow this post.

Also, I'd like anyone to feel free and post things that you think would make this park better or more magical.

I think that you should put a Sept. 11, 2001 tribute in the NUC Section. Also,if you are going to have a firework show, it could be called The Great American Flag. There would be a HUGE American flag that is only flown during the show. The fireworks would be shot off from behind it. Here is a map!

Wouldn't it be better to have a "National Landmark" boatride (think Storybookland Cannals in Disneyland) where you could see all of our landmarks in one shot?

Here's an idea: instead of focusing on history, why not do a park that's based around travel (i.e. not the World Showcase)? Like, between the lands, you could have a few cheesy tourrist-trap spots (which are actually bathrooms, ODV carts, ect.).

Another thing is, how is Alaska going to fit in with it's surroundings? This would be an interesting addition.

I like the Secret Service thing, though. Is this going to carry on that strong Disney tradition of a ride where something goes horribly wrong?

Uuh, I don't think a 9/11 memorial would be too apropriate. First, when people go to Disney, they want to forget about their troubles like the War on Iraq, terrorism, etc. No one wants to remember these things at Disney.

I was thinking of a fireworks show being called "UNITED" and there would be fireworks that show off from all the lands. and the torch on the Statue of Liberty would have lasers and sparks. I like the idea of restrooms, carts, etc. in between the lands. They could be like, road side attractions. Alaska would fit in by having that town from snowdogs and large hills with a lot of trees. The sercret service thing is another ride that would go wrong. The story is that you are supposed to train for the secret service but the training facility has been broken into and your new mission is to get the intruders, if you do that, welcome to the secret service!
The other ride with something that gos wrong is Raging Rapids. You are supposed to go left at a fork in the river, but it starts raining and your pushed to the right. (bad, bad, bad road!)

My park is based on travel, some of these places are historic, and the others are "exotic".

You know, my mom always complains that there isn't enough seating for Illuminations... so, maybe it should be called "UNITED WE STAND," unless you're planning on seating around a proper venue.

If you want a seat in the fireworks show you can go to the top of the statue of libert or Washington monument and sit up there and watch or sit on a bench in one of themed areas. The seats would be cleverly disguised for each land so there useful for taking a rest or watching the show, but there not sticking out like a sore thumb during the day. Here a re the disguises:

New York:
Regular city benches on "Ellis Island" or go to a sky walk and sit to get a great view.

Americana Central:
Sit on the top of the building. (lots of seats and great 360 degree view)

Alaska:
Sit on fake glacier benches along the edge of the land.

Hawaii:
Go sit in the volcanic activity lab where you can watch the fireworks inside the volcano.

Mt. Rushmore
Sit on large stone benches located throughout the land.

The Grand Canyon:
Go to lookout point where you can see the fireworks or look over into the raging rive in the canyon below.

Washington D.C.:
Benches on the Oval Offices 2nd Story Covered Porch or on benches throughout the land.

The reson you can sit around in the different lands to see the show is because fireworks are shout off from all the lands standing for the name UNITED.
