Disney's family magic tour?

Hi,
anyone done the family magic tour at MK recently?
from what info I can find, it goes at 10am from mainstreet and is $25 pp.
It looks fun, think my little girl would like to wander the park acting silly (nothing new there then!) and searching for clues.
Is it worth it ($75 + tax for our family) and do you always do thre search for captian hooks hook and end with peter pan and wendy?
Also while i'm on, what is the opening ceremony like at MK and silly question but what time do you have to be there to see it? if park opens at 9am is it on say 0850?

I know the characters vary, but we got lucky and got to watch Mickey's Philharmagic with Peter and Wendy. My son, who was 4 at the time, was in a really miserable mood that day so that kind of ruined it for us, but my daughter (2 at the time) absolutely LOVED it.
