Guess what, guys? I have ideas for a fifth Disney World park, the Enchanted Oceans. This nautical-themed park is sure to make things fun around the area, and guess what else? We're bringing back some old attractions. What exactly? I will not tell you, just for surprise. I also will be introducing attractions from all over the world, as well as some new attractions exclusive to this park.

Now, what is this park exactly? It's a nautical-themed park like Tokyo Disneysea. It will have eight areas as well as a backstory tied with the Society of Explorers and Adventurers. Tune in to later posts as I reveal more about this park.

It's time to visit our first area, which serves as a Main Street for the park......

S.E.A. Base
SocietyPortrait.png
For the entrance of the park, guests go to a Jungle outpost in the Indonesian archipelago, the secondary place of operation of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers. Here, there is a mix of cultures and styles in the buildings to reflect diversity in the Society. The town itself is a mix of Dutch, Victorian, Chinese, Russian, Indonesian, Arabian, Spanish, and Italian.

Like Disneyland Paris, guests enter the park from underneath a hotel, the EXPLORER'S LODGE. In front of the hotel is a globe ala Universal, but depicting Steamboat Willie sailing on it. Nearby it is the Storytellers Statue from Disney's California Adventure, Tokyo Disneysea, and Shanghai Disneyland.

On the other side of the hotel is the town. It is shaped in a V-shape like Mediterranean Harbor at Tokyo Disneysea, making room for a lagoon up ahead. As guests walk down the street, they are met with two buildings. On the right is ADVENTURE HALL, where they can get help and services. On the left is the TRADERS OF THE WORLD, a shop selling merchandise themed to the park. Also down the street is SOCIETY GOODS and EXPLORER'S CAFE.

When emerging from the street, guests are given a choice to go left or right. Splitting the road is a seating place where guests can sit down for nightly productions of WORLD OF COLOR. Going left will take guests to the restaurants CHINA VOYAGER, EXPLORATION EATS, and TROPICAL TREATS as well as the shops TREASURES OF THE WORLD and ADVENTURE OUTFITS. This path will lead guests into Forbidden Delta. Going right, guests will find the restaurants EXPEDITION EXPRESS and SNACKS FROM AFAR, as well as the shop SOCIETY CHRISTMAS STORE.

As the street begins to turn left, a mysterious sight comes into view: A Queen Anne Revival Manor atop a hill. Located around it are impressive GARDENS OF WONDERS, displaying ancient artifacts that come to life before the eyes of guests. Inside the mansion is where guests can ride MYSTIC MANOR, an extended version of the Hong Kong ride. This includes Indian and Southeast Asian rooms, a Viking room, and a fossil room, as well as all the rooms from the original. The ride exits into THE ARCHIVES. Also near the mansion is LORD MYSTIC'S BANQUET HALL, where hungry guests can eat. At the edge of the water is one of four stations for the ENCHANTED OCEANS STEAMER LINE, which will take guests to Forbidden Delta. Going forward on the path will take guests near the Icon of the park, Mount Hephaestus, a bigger version of Mount Prometheus that is also depicted with snow on the top of the mountain as well as black rock instead of brown. Going through a tunnel will take guests to Discovery Bay.

As we continue our tour of Enchanted Oceans, we had to our next area.

Forbidden Delta
Krakatoa.jpeg
Going left of the S.E.A. Base, we go deeper into Southeast Asia. This features several exciting experiences amidst the tropical background of Indonesia, Cambodia, and the fantasy world of Kumandra (which is inspired by Southeast Asia.)

As guests exit the area of the S.E.A. Base, they head into the jungle of an Indonesian village. On the left is a bridge to Treasure Cove, which shares maritime borders with the area. On the right is JAVA TRADERS, a gift shop, and further down is KRAKATOA KITCHEN, an Indonesian Restaurant. Located nearby is the gigantic FIRE MOUNTAIN, where a thrill ride is housed. Guests go on a mine train ride through the caves of Krakatoa but must escape the mountain as it erupts. The ride exits into a gift shop, ARCHIPELAGO GIFTS.

Next up, guests come to an area of ancient Cambodian ruins. This includes Buddha statues and small huts, where MEKONG MUNCHIES and LOST ANTIQUITIES are. Nearby is the RUINS EXPLORATIONS, where guests are able to explore some old Cambodian ruins. Guests turn left past that and follow a path to a lost temple, where INDIANA JONES ADVENTURE: TEMPLE OF THE GOLDEN SERPENT is housed. Guests go into the temple looking for a golden serpent of ancient lore, but then the guardian spirits of the temple attack, sending guests on a perilous escape. The ENCHANTED OCEANS STEAMER LINE is also boarded here, departing to Fantasy Springs.
Indiana Jones.jpg
Last but not least is a sub-area inspired by Kumandra, the fictional land from Raya and the Last Dragon. Here, guests are immersed in a Philippine-esque village resembling the Land of Talon. This is home to two shops, ONGI PLUNDER STORE and DRAGON GEM GIFTS. Located near the water is a building, where the restaurant BOUN'S SHRIMPORIUM is. The building is marked by Boun's boat from the film. KUMANDRA COOK-OFF is also found near Dragon Gem Gifts, which leads out of the area and into Treasure Cove. Between the two buildings is a stage where KUMANDRA SPIRIT RALLY, a show where guests see the customs and cultures of the five lands, is preformed. Between the two shops is a bridge that leads to Heart Palace, and that is where guests can ride RAYA AND THE DRAGON JOURNEY, which is basically a more visual, more intense version of Soarin'. The ride is set after the events of the film and sees guests joining Raya, Sisu, and others on a quest to gather the five rain diamonds to restore the land after it had been broken by the Druun.

We now head to the other side of the lake......

Treasure Cove
100c1f000001gswgo8BD6.jpg
Located on the opposite side of the water where Forbidden Delta is, Treasure Cove is an 18th-Century Spanish Caribbean village that has been taken over by pirates. This is a mirrored version of Shanghai's area, with a few small changes.

Coming in from Forbidden Delta, guests follow a jungle path to the village. Ahead is the El Fandargo Theater, where EYE OF THE STORM: CAPTAIN JACK'S STUNT SPECTACULAR plays. Located near that on the edge of the water is the SNACKIN' KRAKEN. Also in the area is a CARIBBEAN VOODOO SHOP as well as DEAD MAN'S CHEST, a gift shop selling things from the Pirates films.

As guests go further to the right, they go further into the village. Here, the SIREN'S REVENGE is at a nearby pier. Guests can also play at SHIPWRECK SHORE, a play area located just further east of the boat. Along the village lies a bunch of themed shops and restaurants. This includes BARBOSSA'S BOUNTY, a Blue Bayou-type restaurant, TREASURE CHAMBER, a gift shop, and PIRATE PASTRIES, a snack shop. Located in a giant, battle-scarred fortress is where guests board PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: BATTLE FR THE SUNKEN TREASURE, a reimagined version of the classic Pirates attraction that is based off of the one in Shanghai. Guests go on a boat ride through the eerie caves nearby, and then they are recruited by Jack Sparrow on a quest to retrieve untold treasure from Davy Jones. The ride exits into HOIST THE COLORS, a gift shop.

We now come to the largest area of the park.....

Fantasy Springs
peter-pan-neverland-port-tokyo-disneysea-expansion.jpg

On the western side of Mount Hephaestus is an Enchanted world where classic Disney stories come to life. This is a great area for families and most of the rides in the area have no height requirements with only a few exceptions. It is inspired by an upcoming area to Tokyo Disneysea, although it has some different themed attractions than that.

Coming in from Treasure Cove, guests enter Neverland, the fictional realm of Peter Pan. It is split into two areas. The Pirate side is on the right, which features HOOK'S GALLEY and PIRATE TREASURE as a shop and a restaurant as well as the JOLLY ROGER as a swinging pirate ship ride. It is found near Skull Rock, which faces the other side of the water. On the other side of the water is NEVERLAND EXPLORERS, a trackless dark ride where guests go on a tour of Neverland but must escape from Captain Hook and his crew. LOST THINGS and PETER PAN's PANTRY are a shop and restaurant on that side.

Going further up north, both sides go into different areas. The Pirate side of the area goes to Atlantica, the underwater kingdom from The Little Mermaid. This is home of several kiddie rides, including JUMPIN' JELLYFISH, THE WHIRLPOOL, BLOWFISH BALLOON RACE, and ARIEL'S PLAYGROUND. KING TRITON'S CONCERT also plays in the area. WHOOSITS AND WHATSITS GALORE and KISS THE GIRL FASHIONS are shops in the area while SEBASTIAN'S KITCHEN is a restaurant.
Atlantica.jpeg
The Jungle side of Neverland leads into a forest region, which quickly becomes a Medieval village. Rather than focusing on a single film, this focuses on many. In the center of the room is a statue of Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice. Going clockwise around the square is A TANGLED TALE, THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE, and PINOCCHIO'S MISADVENTURES, all of which are dark rides. The first is an omnimover, the second is a trackless ride, and the third is a boat ride similar to Frozen Ever After. PLEASURE ISLAND CANDY COMPANY and SORCERER'S SHOP are two gift shops in the area. Located on the outskirts of the village is THE SNUGGLY DUCKLING, which serves as a dining location. Going further north will take guests to the Disney Battlegrounds. The ENCHANTED OCEANS STEAMER LINE is found here, taking guests to Ports of America.

And now we come to an ambitious area of the park......

Disney Battlefield
Fantasy Citadel.jpg
Before we get into this area, I want to tell you about how the area was developed. In these forums, there has been a lot of talk about having a villains land in the parks, some say an entire park. One example of this was the Shadowlands area in Sydney Disneyland. However, I personally dislike the idea of a villains area because I think it's too mature and scary for some. Despite this, I wanted to show that I can work with villains, but instead of having an area entirely based off of them, I decided to counteract that by having a heroes section. Therefore, I made this area themed to heroes vs. villains, battling in an enchanted forest (which will tie into the S.E.A. backstory in what they are fighting over.)

When guests come in from the village of Fantasy Springs, guests walk towards a castle, one of two in the area. It is highly-defended and adorned with light colors. Within the castle are experiences based off of Disney Heroes. HERO TRAINING GROUNDS is located near the castle, serving as an interactive experience. Inside the castle are three things, the HERO ACADEMY dark ride, the HERO ACADEMY EMPORIUM, and the FORCES OF GOOD BANQUET HALL. On the north side of the area are other heroic things. This includes ZERO TO HERO, a dark ride based off of Hercules, JOURNEY OF MULAN, a show retelling the story of Mulan, and GATHERINGS OF GOOD, a gift shop.

As guests leave the castle, they go through the battlegrounds, where constant sounds of swords clashing are heard in the background. Up against a mountain is where guests go on a battle ride similar to Men in Black at Universal. It is called HEROES AND VILLAINS: MAGIC WAR. Here, guests can choose a side, Heroes or Villains, and battle each other in a dark ride setting.

As they keep going, things take a spooky turn. The forest becomes darker and a castle lies up ahead, one that is darker in both tone and color than the previous castle. This is an area themed to the villains. When stepping into the castle, guests can see that it is similar to the heroes castle. CRUELLA'S CAR CHAOS and VILLAINS ACADEMY serve as dark rides in the area while VILLAINS BOOKSTORE serves as a shop. THE POISON APPLE is a restaurant. The big attraction in there is ESCAPE FROM CASTLE VILLAINOUS, where guests must rescue a S.E.A. member from inside the Villains' castle, coming across several villains on the way out and ending with a showdown with Maleficent in the forest.

Attractions:
64.Hero Training Grounds
65. Hero Academy
66. Zero to Hero
67. Journey of Mulan
68. Heroes and Villains: Magic War
69. Cruella's Car Chaos
70. Villains Academy
71. Escape from Castle Villainous
Dining:
72. Forces of Good Banquet Hall
73. The Poison Apple
Shopping:
74. Hero Academy Emporium
75. Gatherings of Good
76. Villains Bookstore

Probably wasn't the best I could've done, but I tried.

Join us tomorrow as we move on to Ports of America, an area themed to the seaside bays of 1920s United States.

We are almost done with our tour of Enchanted Oceans, but first we have a few more stops.

Ports of America
WinchesterHouse_PChang-4330.0.1484336386.jpg
Taking up a horn in the park is the charming seaside ports of the United States. Set amidst the Roaring 20s, guests can be immersed in the active cities of San Francisco and New Orleans.

Coming in from the Disney Battlefield, guests enter a quaint New Orleans section inspired by the French Quarter. DR. FACILIER'S VOODOO EMPORIUM helps transition the area from its villain castle entrance. Further down are the shops MARDI GRAS CONFECTIONS, JAZZ SHOP, and DOWN IN NEW ORLEANS. CAFE ORLEANS is a restaurant near these shops. Further down is where the area's major ride, THE MAGICAL TALE OF THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG, can be ridden. Guests board Mardi Gras floats and g on a trackless ride retelling the events of the film. TIANA'S PALACE and MAMA ODIE'S BAYOU STORE are found nearby.
Disneyland-News-New-Orleans-Square-Mardi-Gras-Mask.jpeg

Guests can either cross a bridge to the island where Mount Hephaestus is or they can go further north and go east. If they do this, they will enter the streets of San Francisco, rebuilt following the earthquake. GHIRADELI'S CHOCOLATE SHOP and SOURDOUGH BREAD BAKERY are found nearby, as well as a CABLE CAR that takes guests to the edge of the area. Near these two shops is a dock where guests can board the ENCHANTED OCEANS STEAMER LINE and go back to S.E.A. Base. If they go further east, guests will find a fork in the road. Going left will take them into Chinatown, home to the restaurant MANDARIN KITCHEN, the interactive dark ride SECRETS OF CHINATOWN, and the store CHINATOWN TREASURES. The GARDEN OF THE TWELVE FRIENDS is also found back there. Going right will take them further into the city, where LOMBARD STREET RACE, a wild mouse coaster down Lombard Street. Also in the area is BAYSIDE TRADERS and TROLLEY TREATS. At the end of the street is the ominous mansion of S.E.A. member Samuel E. Eerieman, a professor and gun salesman who had extreme paranoia that the ghosts of those killed by his guns would come to haunt him. For many years, he built a mansion on the hill, believing that the ghosts would get him if he stopped building. He eventually did stop building, and shortly after, the 1906 earthquake happened and he disappeared. What happened to him? Guests brave enough to find out will go into EERIEMAN ESTATE, a 3-D ride through the building where guests come face to face with several spooks. Also near the manor is the ferryboat to CONVICT ISLAND, a Tom Sawyer Island-type of attraction where guests explore a romanticized version of Alcatraz.

(Some of this has been inspired by Sydney Disneyland's Pacific Wharf.)

As we head back down to Mount Hephaestus, we enter a world of tomorrow as seen from yesterday........

Discovery Bay
Space Mountain and Orbitron.jpeg
Located on the on the west side of a big river is Discovery Bay, a world where the ideas of several visionaries like Jules Verne and H. G. Wells had been fully realized. Located near the volcano of Mount Hephaestus, this is divided from S.E.A. Base by a big wall of rocks.

When coming in from New Orleans or Atlantica, guests find themselves in a retrofuturistic setting. In front of them is a circle where they can ride the ORBITRON, basically a lower-paced Astro Orbiter. Behind that is DISCOVERY MOUNTAIN: FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON, a roller coaster ride through space. Guests are loaded into a Columbiad Cannon and shot into orbit to go to the moon, but they go past the moon and into the stars around them. The ride exits into COLUMBIAD CURIOSITIES. Guests can take a bridge to the other side of the bay on the east or continue down south.

If they go further down south, guests will enter the crater of Mount Hephaestus, decked out in Victorian style. Here, guests can see Captain Nemo's ship, the Nautilus, parked into the bay. This is also where a bunch of submarines are. Guests can board one of these submarines and embark on the 20,000 LEAGUES SUBMARINE VOYAGE, a journey to find Atlantis with Captain Nemo. Also in the area is JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH, an extended version of the Tokyo Disneysea original. In the area is NAUTILUS BITES as a restaurant as well as VULCANIA TREASURES as a gift shop. Going further south will take guests back to S.E.A. Base.
verne-12.max-600x600.jpg
If guests cross the bridge, they will see a bunch of relaunched attractions as well as the HYPERION CAFE. Returning attractions include THE TIMEKEEPER, HORIZONS, and STORMRIDER, all of which are located at the edge of the water. DISCOVERY GIFTS serves as a gift shop. AQUATOPIA is also an avialable attraction in the area. Going further east will take guests into Beastly Kingdom.

To conclude our tour of the park, we head to one last area.....

Beastly Kingdom
Brave-DunBroch-DSC-opening.jpg
It was a planned area for Disney's Animal Kingdom that was eventually scrapped, but now it is revived in this park. Here, guests can go deep into the woods of Europe and search for mythical creatures.

This area contains two areas: A medieval England area and an Ancient Greek area. Located near Discovery Bay to the north is the Medieval England area, where guests are immersed in a tenth Century village. FANTASY FOODS is a restaurant on the left while BEASTLY BITES is a snack stand on the right. Going further in, guests can find the VILLAGE GIFTS and BLACKSMITH SHOP, as well as the SEARCH FOR THE UNICORN, a dark ride where guests go through the forests of England to find a unicorn. Further up is the WANDERING RAVEN PUB, a British pub to eat at. The pub creates a fork in the road. If they go left, guests will head to the castle, where they can board a dueling coaster called FLIGHT OF THE DRAGON, similar to the former Dueling Dragons attraction at Universal's Islands of Adventure. Guests board one of two coasters, Fire or Ice, and go on a rampant ride through the castle grounds. Also in the area is the BLACK FOREST CRUISE, a Jungle Cruise-esque attraction where guests go through a forest containing several creatures, including a dragon. These rides exit into MYTHOLOGICAL MERCHANDISE.

Going right of the pub, guests follow a passage into an Ancient Greek area. This contains a kiddie ride, CENTAUR CAROUSEL, as well as an aqua coaster (think Journey to Atlantis at Sea World), JOURNEY TO MOUNT OLYMPUS, where guests go on a quest to the top of Mount Olympus, encountering many creatures from Greek Mythology as well as the Gods themselves. The ride exits into TREASURES OF ZEUS. SATYR DRINKS and TAVERN OF THE GODS serve as restaurants in the area.
