Sorry for two posts in a row...been talking to the family about our trip next year and am in a Disney mode.

Our vacation plan will include DisneyQuest again...when you go in there, are all the arcades and games free or so you have to pay extra?

I won't say "free" because you are paying admission, but there is no additional charge for any of the games except for a handful of machines where you can acquire something tangible, such as the claw.

When was the last time y'all visited DisneyQuest?
It's essentially never upgraded, so unless it's part of a package and you have many days to fill it's probably a poor use of your money and time, barring a rainstorm.

I went at least 4 times when I was there on my last 2 week trip in January and everytime I went it was pretty busy....Rarely did I ever see it empty on any attraction or arcade game...

My family and I enjoyed it on our final half day. It was relaxing, confined, and "simple" (for lack of a better words). The games are all free, besides- as stated above- the claw games. The place can be overwhelming as a kid because they're so many games but, that isn't particularly bad for adults... The upper floor eating area was the nicest area to sit back and relax as parents ate and let their kids run.

Many of the games are outdated, especially the "ride" games; with the oculus rift out, these games are laughable jokes that you still find yourself standing in line for. The best (the most unique in experience) in particular are Pirate, pinball slam and CyberSpace Mountain.

Great substitute for a "day by the pool." (In terms of relaxation, I know you likely got this with your BB and TL tickets)
