Rumor has it that the Lagoon will be turned into a Finding Nemo attraction that will open in Spring 2007.

Wow! were they running a preview of those floats during normal hours, in front of crowds? Is there no element of surprise for the May 5 events?

Not all of the floats have been seen yet. There are still 3 floats that haven't been seen yet publicly including the B&tB float, the Little Mermaid float and the massive castle finale float. (Although some photos of the LM float are available from an afterhours practice that someone was able to get pics of).

The fireworks are remaining a surprise to an extent as well. Although they can be seen during practices from nearly every angle outside the park, no guests have been able to see and hear the show together or see it from inside the park.

It even looks as if they are keeping the castle decorations for a surprise (which surprised me). Beyond a few jewels that will serve as anchors, no decorations have been added as of yet and there is less than two weeks left before the big day. Rumor has it they will start the evening of May 3rd when the park closes and all day May 4th during the "press only" day at DL and then do a true "unveiling" of the castle on May 5th (with a large curtain to be suspended in front of the castle).

Its hard to keep a lot of these things a surprise with the internet these days. But there still will be some neat surprises.

The floats look amazing. I didn't want to look, but I couldn't resist I can't wait till July when I will be able see it in person.

The Floats where being filmed for a Disneyland TV Commericial sat morning before rain swept into the area that evening ,Only four floats where used for the tv spot ( Train float,Alice,Lion King and Pinnochio).

Also the Disneyland website is offering a Disneyland vacation dvd..I odered mine three weeks ago before going to Disney World for the Soarn preview last weekend..so hopefully all the new footage for the 50th will be included when it comes. :sohappy:
