Disneyland to ban Loose or Dry Ice

OK, Disney will still use Ice itself, when you purchase drinks. Guests just can't bring their own.

For those who want coolers, the "ice packs" that are large and frozen before use will be OK (Blue Ice).

There are also security issues. Do you want a CM placing their hands in your ice?

Disney has said they will give guests Ice for their coolers inside the Secure area. Not sure how that will work, I presume only a few cups full....
I didn't think of that. It would be a good place to hide a gun.

So something like this?

I certainly can't imagine some enterprising soul re-engineering that to hold something other than coolant. ;)

Wow. 36 days in jail?! Fire him, sure, but jail time? Poor kid.

Good thing the Disney lawyers weren't around our lab during grad school. Dry ice bomb pranks among the grad students were pretty much a weekly occurrence. :D

Not a good idea to possibly cause panic in a crowded public space. He got off easy to be honest. I wonder how much it would have cost him if security thought it was a real bomb and had to clear the park for the rest of the day?
