Hello, my family and myself will be visiting Disneyland for the first time and June for the 50th. I would like to stay in one the Disney property hotels and was wondering which resort can accommdate 5 people ( or have a sofa bed or similar)?? Also, any packages by Disney that are for a 6 day/ 5 night. We are members of AAA and disney vacation club. Any tips or information will be greatly appreciated. This is our first time going to the west coast and would like it to be memorable!!!

Thanks!!!

I don't think any standard rooms at the DL hotels are going to accomodate 5 people. You are probably going to have to go with a suite. There are a lot of hotels/motels surrounding DLR. You might be able to get 2 rooms at one of those places cheaper than a suite at one of the DL hotels. As for packages, check out www.disneyland.com Packages are through Walt Disney Travel Company. The last time I went to DL, the package price was cheaper than doing things a la carte. You can check AAA's website also.

I know you wanted to stay in a Disney hotel, but if you change your mind, check out the Desert Inn. It is right across the street from the plaza between DL and DCA. It is as close as DL Hotel and much closer than paradise Pier. The prices are great and they have 4 different Suites that will take care of your needs. We will be staying there again in 25 days. I think it is my 5 time there over the past 15 years.

By the way, staying on property at Disneyland isn't nearly the benefit it is at WDW so don't be too hesitant to branch out.

Here are the rooms: http://www.anaheimdesertinn.com/room_suites.htm

Have fun!

I agree with PrinceDon. IMHO staying on property at DL is not the same as staying on property at WDW. You should consider the hotels surrounding the resort. When I visit WDW I always stay on property. But when I visit DL I always stay at the Anaheim Best Western Inn which is right across the street from the entrance. I just have to cross the street and I'm there. I would recommend a look at the Anaheim Best Western Inn. Very large suites at reasonable prices.
