I'm going to DLP for a short weekend at the end of march, (i'll be in the parks March 31st). I havnt been to Paris for 8yrs, so i'm after some advice on:

1.Crowd Levels
2. Weather
3. Explorers Hotel - Has anyone stayed there? Is it within walking idstance to the parks, or do I have to get the shuttle service?

1. DLP seems to be proving popular during "holiday" times. By this I mean during times like Easter, Halloween, Bonfire NIght etc. so if its Easter when you are there it'll probably be pretty busy.

2. The weather will probably be marginally better than in the UK. When I've been beofre it seems not to rain as much, but the mildness is similar.

3. I believe the Explorers is q little ways off site (I think we drove passed it on the VEA airport shuttle). I would think they have ashuttle bus to take you to the park, I would recommend using it.

We stayed at a non-Disney hotel on our visit, very close to the explorers. Shuttle bus service is excellent to the parks. The service varies depending on the time of day, but I think start around 8am running to around 11-12 depending on the season. You'd be hard pushed not to catch a bus in 20-30 mins wait, but normally they are MUCH more regular.

Stayed there last week, the shuttle bus was just like the busses at WDW, busy andalways took a life time to get there even if theywere every 20 mins.

Beautiful park, shame its run by the French.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Transport to the parks efficient and regular. The rooms were of a reasonable size with seperate w/c and bathroom.

The pool and central area were noisy early evening with excited ankle biters everywhere. Breakfast was included on our rate and was a striped down coffee and croisant affair. but it served its purpose.

One annoying thing was the oops weve made a mistake on the bill routine. I booked through the internet and im sure there was a bit of smoke and mirrors on the room rate using the Euro exchange rate as the excuse.

I've just returned from my trip to DLRP. Was pretty good. Crowds were non-existant, managed to do Space Mt, Star Tours, BTMR, Haunted MAnison and PotC all within an hour of park opening, then shot over to the Studios to do Rock N Roller Coaster 5 times withouthaving to wait once. My my, Disney Studios is TINY. I knew it was going to be small, but not that small! Overall it was a pretty good trip, not many complaints about DLRP.

Hotel - Pretty basic, but at least it was clean. Sham the beds were pretty uncomfortable and the pillows lumpy, and the free breakfast left me wanting more, but it served it purpopse well. Shuttle service was good, sham about having to wait outside in the wind.

Any questions, feel free to ask...
