Just thought it would be good to have a thread to share all the new stuff happening for Disneyland Resorts first real Holiday season since 2019.

We've got Merriest Nites this year in its own thread.

For regular guests there is:

A Christmas Fantasy Parade (without any more cuts unlike MK's parade)
Castle Decorations/Lighting and snow moments
IASW Holiday (when it can reopen)
Haunted Mansion Holiday
Believe... in Holiday Magic fireworks
Mickey's Happy Holidays Cavalcade at DCA

and much more, I am sure...

So share what you find - nothing beats Christmas at Disney.

Just watched a stream.

Full pyro until the final segment, suddenly all pyro was cut for last show segment minus the castle pyro. Either system lost signal or they had to e-stop the launch pad due to wind or other issues.

More likely the latter as wind becomes stronger in California than in Florida when Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime had its first performance.

Too bad that Disneyland still using 20-year-old holiday fireworks show and 25-year-old christmas parade as they (particularly Believe in Holiday Magic) become increasedly dated show than Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime at the MK.

Castle Fireworks effect in Believe returns to when we see in early November 2019 when the color of mine/comet firework effect returned to white rather than red and green as we seen in December 2019. Castle pyro at Believe were similar to 2019 when they cut some pyros and for this year, some projections were changed.

Believe in Holiday Magic is my favorite themepark fireworks show of all time. I hope they never get rid of it, at least until Disney's leadership changes.

I also agree to anyone, i like the firework show despite now 20-year-old show. Yet, Believe prequently began its first performance in event of Santa Ana Winds. I wonder, why not utilize alternate pyro, and the show can be shown even without fireworks?

I mean, it seems they intended to show the full show. It was only the finale segment that suddenly had all high level pyro cut.

Hopefully it was due to wind! IDK why DL can't automatically switch to the B Mode Believe. The B Mode is just as Good when there's wind around!

Look at the second night of Holiday Believe, it appears that there is a normal finale with big pyro. It see that at Aaron skinner youtube stream.

See in this video:

I haven't been to the resort for the holidays for many years. One of my favorite things to do was buy and make one of those "decorate your own gingerbread man" kits (the ones that came with a cookie and a few pennies worth of frostings, sprinkles, etc.). I remember decorating it on Main Street, listening to the area music loop and enjoying a hot chocolate. If the weather was chilly/overcast, even better.

I'm pretty sure they don't sell these anymore but I know they still sell gingerbread on Main Street so still have something to look forward to in that regard!

I've also been a fan of the yearly Haunted Mansion Holiday offerings that French Market would serve up. I still have the Zero dog bowl they would serve dessert up in as a decoration in my Nightmare before Christmas room. This year they have a Nightmare Wreath cookie so I'm looking forward to that! Hoping it'll be a great time on Dec. 4th.

"The annual Candlelight Processional that fills Disneyland each winter with seasonal songs will return to the Anaheim theme park this holiday season after being forced to cancel the Christmas tradition in 2020 for the first time in decades due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Candlelight Processional will be held on Dec. 4 and 5 at Disneyland for invited guests and VIPs with shows each night at 5:30 and 7:45 p.m."

Think I read somewhere they're doing cookie decorating (not sure if gingerbread or sugar cookies) where Santa is greeting in the challenge trail area of DCA? You might want to check and see. :)

I will keep this in mind for a different visit but our next trip is Disneyland only! DCA doesn’t have much to offer us anymore. But thank you for sharing, I still do love the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and Grizzly Peak areas of that park, just not enough to pay the extra 60 bucks each time.

Tonight, they did fireworks at 8 PM, got to watch them from the Rise Bar on top of the Radisson Blu.

Then, made it home by 9 PM, when they went off again....

Now that I saw the TV filming sign, it makes sense.
