DisneySea is the second gate of the Disneyland Resort in addition to the previously released Disneyland Park. Located about three miles southwest of Lake Disney and Disneyland Park, DisneySea is the largest park on the property and is connected to both Disneyland and the Walt Disney Studios via monorail. The park will also be home to the second resort hotel in the Disneyland Resort, the Hotel MiraCosta, which also serves as the first area and entrance of the park. DisneySea consists of 9 highly themed "ports":
Mediterranean Harbor
American Waterfront
Port Discovery
Mysterious Island
Lost River Delta
Arabian Coast
Mermaid Lagoon (Yes, I'm going to attempt it!)
Aegean Inlet
Old English Docks (I'm still debating this one)
The park will boast an impressive 7 E-tickets on opening day, including Journey to the Center of the Earth and Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull. Below are two screens of the entrance area, DisneySea Plaza.

If you didn't read my Fiesta topic, then you might not know that I am going back and redoing parts of Disneyland Park that I was unhappy with. Under the guise of participating in the Happiest Celebration on Earth, Disneyland Park is adding the following:
-Tomorrowland (In place of the horrid Discoveryland) featuring:
1) The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter
2) Rocket Rods
3) The Timekeeper
4) Astro Orbiter
5) Autopia
6) Space Mountain
*Notice no Pixar characters.
The completed Avenue of Planets including the Metropolis Science Center (housing the Timekeeper) and the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter.
Rocket Rods Entrance. There will be some more scenery in place of all those paths soon enough.
The Frontierland Railroad Depot has been moved so that the entrance to a new Splash Mountain mini-map can be constructed. The new path is located next to the Country Bear Jamboree on the north side of Frontierland.
-it's a small world has also been moved to it's own mini-map to allow for a more elaborate facade.
-The Sleepy Hollow section of The Shadowlands is also getting a complete overhaul. Look for the architecture to be inspired by the film "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad." Some parts of the Shadowlands had to be altered to allow for construction of Tomorrowland. Not much though.
-And finally the Jungle Cruise is getting a facelift as well. A new route and new show scenes will be the highlight of this refurbishment.
I'm looking foward to any comments you may have!
