Disneyland officials confirmed that both sides of the Matterhorn Bobsled attraction will be in operation again beginning on Thursday, Nov. 21.

A new souvenir merchandise cart next to the Matterhorn also opened up on Thursday. The Main item offered are souvenir Hard Hats with the Matterhorn Logo. Also available for purchase are Flax Jackets featuring an image of Goofy climbing the Matterhorn....

Maintenance cutbacks? They certainly seemed to be in no hurry to reopen it and relieve the Matterhorn CMs and guests of those awfully long lines.

Update. A both an just informed me of a second merchandise cart. This time near the path under Tarzan's Tree house.

why would anyone add a merchandise cart anywhere near Tarzen tree house. They just fixed the bottleneck nightmare in that area when they retroffited the planters and removed the rock benches.

Because you now need a Hardhat to walk under the Treehouse Suspension Bridge!

Those carts were hastily re-skinned from the Tree of Life down in Florida.
