Hi guys. I'm going to be in Paris for work and it looks like I'm going to have a free day. I'm just wondering if I can get there and have enough time to see or do most things in one day. What's the best way to do this and what are the attractions not to be missed? As well as any tips or hidden treasures that you think are worth checking out.

If you have just one day, I hope it won't be during the weekend, It's always busy during the weekend and the holidays, and you don't want to go in Disneyland Paris when it's busy believe me!!!

So if it's your first time, you just have one day, I think you can visit both parks.

For the Studios, you can use half a day. TOT is the same that the one in CA, Rock'N'Roller coaster is the same ride but it's a different "theme" inside, RC totally worth the waiting, Crush coaster doesn't (It's a great ride but the waiting is too long).

Then the rest of the day in Disneyland Park, don't miss the Phantom Manor, BTM (better than in Florida), Space Mountain (nothing like the others), Indiana Jones (It's a Roller Coaster), Pirates of the Caribbean (Better than Florida again), Alice's Curious Labyrinth, and if you still have time Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast (almost the same but still better than Florida). Don't miss Disney Dream at the end of the day!!

You don't say when you are going -- at peak, all days are busy. The rest of the year, avoid weekends and don't visit on a Wednesday (no school in France on Wednesdays)...Monday and Tuesdays off-peak are dead -- (though not empty)...Take an RER leaving no later than an hour from Paris, and you will get to the park with time to spare at opening. You can do BOTH parks in one day if there isn't a huge influx of visitors. You can see the maps and layouts on their website, and plan from there. Most of the rides are copies of the US parks -- unique are Phantom Manor, and their Pirates is superb. Also some unique rides in fantasyland. Big Thunder Mountain is better than Florida (you go under the lagoon onto an island and back) and Space Mountain is a real coaster -- i.e. inversions, corkscrews, and high speed.

I went October 21st and we did every open ride at Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios and there was still time to do some shopping at Disney Village. As long as you go off peak, on a week day, use Fastpass and get there before the parks open you will have no problem riding everything in a single day.
