Hi, we've been planning our first trip to DLP which will be in mid August 2010. Very excited! We're a family of 4, our kids will be six and 3 when we go. We are more or less settled on staying at the Cheyenne (reasonaly priced and near the parks) and will probably go for the 3 days, 2 nights package.

Question is when is the best time to book? Are there likely to be deals in the new year, or it is just a case of earlier the better (I'd rather book now anyway). Any advice welcome. Thanks.

I agree, hold out for a couple of months. I think a few deals come out in January so it would be worth checking often.

If nothings come out by February / March then I would just go ahead and book anyway.

As a pro tip, sign up for quidco.com before you book. Sign in with them, and follow their links though tot he DLP website. Once there book as normal but you will receive 6.5% of the holiday cost back as "cashback". It sounds a little fake but I've been using quidco for a couple of years now and accoring to my account, I've made about £400 on various purchases!
