Since rumors have spread that Disney has been buying property in the Branson, MO area, why not Imagineer what's going to be there? I currently am going to do the same thing that KentB3 did, with the updates and more. I have decided that there will be three parks-Magic Kingdom, MidCOT, Walt Disney Studios, and something never done before, The Underworld-a theme park entirely based on Disney Villains. But, this is a smaller-scaled park, so admission would be somewhat less. And actually, every park will have a different admission price, so it can be fair since Magic Kingdom and MidCOT would be very large, the Studios somewhat mid-sized, and The Underworld small. But of course, with expansions, the prices can be raised.

PARK 1 (to open first)-THE MAGIC KINGDOM

MAIN STREET USA
Now, I want this land to be themed somewhat of like where Walt Disney grew up, since this is Missouri and he was born here. But the normal Main Street USA buildings and stuff will also be here.

Main Street Cinema
Main Street Vehicles
Walt Disney World Railroad (stop)

ADVENTURELAND
The Jungle Cruise: This would be a new and better version of the original Jungle Cruise, with this time a plot similar to The Great Movie Ride. You start out with your tour guide, but then in the middle of the ride, an poacher from the jungle takes control of your cruise and takes you into dangerous waters, where somehow your tour guide meets back up with you and throws the poacher off or something.

The Enchanted Tiki Room-The ORIGINAL one!

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril-Similar to DLP's version, with some IJA from DL elements used, also a new coaster system.

Tarzan's Treehouse-Same as Disneyland's.

Agrabah Marketplace-Contains AEP and various shops and cafes, as well as a show.
Aladdin's Enchanted Adventure:Riding on magic carpets, this dark ride takes you through the story of Aladdin. The carpets can move in many different ways, including up and down, side to side, but are not operated by the rider.

Pirates of The Caribbean-Built entirely new, with amazing life-looking AA's as this slow moving boat cruise goes through the same as it does now, but with some movie scenes added.

FRONTIERLAND
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad-Same as MK's.

Thunder Mesa River Landing-This is at DLP. On a riverboat, you go through scenes of the old West. But this one will incorporate the Midwest scenery as well.

Tom Sawyer Island-All Midwest! Will be somewhat of like DL's since theirs is a bit bigger than MKs.

Goofy's Country Dancin' Jamboree-Same as at MK.

Woody's Round Up-Similar to Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, but this time you use Western-period guns as you go through scenes to stop an evil bandit on the loose.

COUNTRY WOODS
This is a land similar to Critter Country with some other elements in.

Splash Mountain-Same as MK.

Pooh's Hunny Hunt-Same as at Tokyo Disneyland. It is suppose to be better than TMAoWTP, so we'll use this.

The Haunted Mansion-new version, with better AA's, effects, and it's also bigger.

FANTASYLAND
it's a small world-Just like at DL,this would start outside and go inside. New and improved AA's are used along with new scenes.

Casey Jr.'s Circus Train-same as DL and DLP.

Peter Pan's Flight-same as everywhere, except better animatronics are used as well as some new additions.

Pinnochio's Daring Journey-Takes up for the loss of Winnie The Pooh. Different version than DL's.

Sleeping Beauty Castle-I have decided to use this one in a modified way, so it's not too big nor not too small. Inside is the Sleeping Beauty dark ride.

Mad Tea Party-same as everywhere.

Mr. Toad's Outrageous Ride-Mr. Toad is back in a new and better wild ride!

The Little Mermaid-Riding in conch shells, you go through scenes of Ariel's quest to be "part of that world!"

TOMORROWLAND
This will have the look and feel of DLP's Discoveryland.

Stitch Escape!-same as MK.

Space Mountain-DLP's version, the much better one.

Tomorrowland Autopia-Ride along the highways of tomorrow on futuristic cars.

The Flying Saucers-new and improved.

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Journey-A 3-D attraction on which you see Buzz Lightyear defeat the evil Zurg.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority-same as MK.

Astro Orbiter-same.

TOONTOWN
This will not be like Mickey's Toontown, this will be a place where you walk through the streets of Toontown.

Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin-same as DL's with some new stuff.

Mickey's PhilarMagic-This is presented in the "Toontown Theatre."

Gadget's Go-Coaster-more high-tech than DL.

Toontown Docks-where DONALD'S BOAT is located.

Jolley Trolley-same as DL.

Toontown Suburbs-where MICKEY'S HOUSE, MINNIE'S HOUSE, AND GOOFY'S HOUSE is located.

Cartoon Courtroom in 3D-Presented in the Toontown Courthouse, Roger Rabbit is the judge and YOU are the jury in this hilarious 3D show!

GREAT plans! Needless to say, you are defintely off to a good start!

BTW, where did these rumors about Disney buying property in Branson, MO get started? I did a Yahoo search on this, and so far, found nothing.

As for my project, I have yet to come up with a location for my proposed park. MY first choices for the location of my park would be Hawaii if built in the U.S., and Australia if international. Personally, I can't imagine Disney building another theme park in the continental U.S., since Disney haready has Disneyland in Anaheim and Walt Disney World in Orlando; but then, stranger things have happened!

Good luck with your Disney park proposal! I look forward to seeing the final product sometime soon!

Critter Country

I think this would be the best place to where rides based with animals to be placed, since Pooh seems out of place at Fantasyland and Splash Mountain in Frontierland.

Splash Mountain-Same as MK.

Pooh's Hunny Hunt-Same as at Tokyo Disneyland. It is suppose to be better than TMAoWTP, so we'll use this.

Journey To The Center of The Earth-same as TDS. Replaces Matterhorn Bobsleds.

Mr. Toad's Outrageous Ride-Mr. Toad is back in a new and better wild ride!

Atlantis-The Lost Empire: Hop aboard your submarine and join Milo on your quest to find the lost city of Atlantis! But beware for sea creatures and other hazards on the way!

Great Ideas! Although, here's what I suggest:

What does Journey to the Center of the Earth doing in Fantaseyland? Its based off Science fiction, not fantasey. Better put it in Tomrrowland. Same thing with Atlantis, but the movie was not popular at all, even if you liked it, but I reccomend that you don't put it there.

Also, I feel that you shouldn't put an Alice in Wonderland maze to Fantaseyland because its supposed to be exclusive to DLP only.

Nice Ideas for the Jungle Cruise, but how about a poacher hijack the boat instead of a native, because a native would not speak english or know how to drive a boat.

BTW, You seemed to have forgotton a Haunted Mansion attraction.

For Winnie the Pooh, TDL's version makes it perfectly fit in Fantaseyland scince the viecles "enchantedly" move by themselves. I think its better in Fantaseyland. And you're right, Splash Mountain does seem out of place in Frontierland, so why not make a new land, like "Country Woods" or somthing.

Other than that, great ideas!

Just to let you know, I live in Missouri, and I know everything about the weather. You could build a park there, but make as many indoor attractoins as possible to avoid the cold winters.

Thank you both for your opinions.

As you can see, I have edited the first post. I have now-

Included Toontown.

Changed "Critter Country" to "Country Woods" and added The Haunted Mansion there.

Added Woody's Round Up to Frontierland.

Taken out the Alice in Wonderland Maze and added The Little Mermaid to Fantasyland, and also took out PhilarMagic and brought it to Toontown.

Took out Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and replaced it with Space Ranger Journey.

Be on the lookout for more updates, and tommorrow I will present the "Walt Disney Studios."

You know, all these clones are starting to get to me. I mean, everyone likes the Haunted Mansion, but do we need to have EVERY Tomorrowland attraction, EVERY Fantasyland attraction, EVERY Adventureland attraction, ect.?

I love Disney as much as the next would-be Imagineer, but there needs to be new ideas, new themes, new experiences... you can't just recycle the same old stuff and call it "new." That's not how Walt would have done it, and personally, I wouldn't like a park that presents the same stuff that four other parks already have.

I understand this isn't real, but can't someone put more effort into these designs? The classic attractions are timeless, but let's leave the cloning to the real Imagineers, and set ourselves at a higher standard...

While I think you have some good ideas, I have to agree with ArsonWinter in that this park has a lot of clones, as do a lot on these boards. In general, the IMAGINEer boards need a little more imagination.

Two things. First of all, where on earth did you hear that Disney is buying property in Branson? I also live in Missouri and I have been to Branson. Although it is big, it doesn't seem like a city where Disney would built. Secondly, I agree with Arson Winter, too much cloning going on in these forums. I try to stay away from it by mixing up different park's attractions, making new ones, or modifying them A LOT!
BTW, Missouri gets down to 15 degrees F almost every Winter (sometimes colder) and, with Branson's location, it gets even colder there sometimes then where I live. Imagineer Boy and I only only about 2 hours away from each other and live right on the Mississippi River, so we know hold freezing it gets. I have been out of school for almost 2 weeks because of Snow before. I know thats not much compared to the Northeast and NorthWest, but it is really cold! Right now, on September 30, 2003 at 7:27 PM it is about 45 degrees outside. FALL SHOULD NOT BE THAT COLD! I like the 85 degrees weather in Florida! Ahhhh... Florida ! These are just some things to think about.
