I wonder what our friends on the WDW side of these boards think about this news.

They release the list every year* and it doesn't fluctuate too much. Disneyland's always been the highest theme park. It's been #1 overall for four years running, MK'd consistently been #5, but Tokyo Disneyland and California Adventure joined the top 10 for the first time. I do find it surprising, and wonder if it has most to do with the different types of crowds or number of parks or something else.

* Last year and last year only, they considered all Disney parks one location. Odd.

And in related news, Disney now sells this:

Social media really is the worst.
I don't think most people in Florida can operate a phone let alone post a picture on instagram. (Old people) So it's no surprise it beat out WDW.
Sounds like you haven't been to WDW in a while. With every waking moment of your vacation tied to your My Disney Experience account, Disney essentially forces you to keep your face stuck in your phone all day, whether you want to or not

What's Instagram?
It's a validation vending machine where you post pictures of yourself to show how cool you are or what fun thing you're doing and people comment about how jealous they are and how good you look, and then leave you "likes" (which are little hearts). The more "likes" you receive, the more your self-esteem gets boosted. Until it starts to sink, and you post another photo to repeat the process!

By that description its a video game. The more likes and followers you get, the higher your "score".

yahtzee!

if so inclined, also take a moment to consider the application of that game to virtually every other form of social media.
