Disneyland Hotel - Room Sizes?

I was doing a search on youtube for standard rooms at the DLH. It appears that the rooms vary very much in size and shape. When I called to make a payment this morning the CM I spoke to told me we'd have a room with 2 queens and a daybed. However, I'm seeing some rooms with 2 queens with almost no room between the beds and bureau and other rooms where there is a lot more space. As for the bathrooms, same thing. Some seem to be the size of a bathroom you'd find on an airplane with 1 sink, while others seem very roomy with 2 sinks.

Any tips on how to get one of the bigger rooms?

I don't have great advice, but I have experienced flexibility at the front desk while checking in. I've been upgraded before so its worth asking. Also, I believe the corner rooms, that is, the rooms at each end of the towers, are larger. These may be the rooms you are seeing online. You can maybe request one of those.
