Disneyland Hotel Questions

Planning our 1st trip to Disneyland for next summer. Couple of questions I was hoping someone could answer for me:

1.Can you request a specific tower? We'd like to stay in the tower with the lobby if possible.

2.What about the other 2 Towers? Is there anything besides rooms in them?

3.Where are all the restaurants located?

4.Did the new Monorail themed pool replace the Neverland Pool, or is the Neverland Pool still there?

Thanks alot!

1-I think you can, the tower with the front desk, is the Fantasy Tower.

2-In the Adventure Tower there is a giant Adventureland mural using concept art, as well as mock ups of various Jungle Cruise AAs. Frontier Tower has a really cool scale model of Big Thunder, well worth a walk over to look at.

3-Coffee House, Goofy's Kitchen, and Steak House 55 are located in the convention building, Tangaroa Terrace and Trader Sams are located just outside the Adventure Tower.

4-The new Monorail slide took over former lawns, the actual Never Land pool is still there but re-themed.

Here's a slightly newer map well concept plan it's basically whats there now.

That map is very helpful - Thank you.

Looks like the Adventure Tower is the best bet for proximity to the rest of the resort, as well as the hotel itself.

What has the Neverland pool been themed to? Are there slides there?

Neither really. I wanted the most Disney-esque. Am I making a mistake?

Ok, just wanted to be sure.. not everyone is familiar that off property in DLR is not as frowned upon as it is in WDW. The GCH and DLH are so expensive compared to the off property ones (which often are in just as good or better locations) so much so that most people opt out of them. The newly modeled rooms in DLH though will be nice.

GCH is a lot better location - but DLH has got a bit more elegance in it's recent refurb I think.

No problem!:) The hotel grounds are fairly small so I personally don't think it will be much of a difference but Adventure Tower offers the best views it's either DTD or the pool/courtyard a win/win. While the other 2 are parking lots or pool/courtyard.

The Neverland pool is now the E-Ticket pool with E-Ticket tiles along the waters edge, and like wise for the D-Ticket pool. It's fairly plain compared to what it replaced but it looks great with the rest of the hotel grounds. Oh and the slides were removed, so just the Monorail ones.

Here's a photo of the E-Ticket pool.
